Annual Giving Campaign 2025/2026

An education from the Milton Public Schools is the foundation for excellence for all of our students. ​This year, ​the Milton Foundation for Education (MFE)​ celebrates 30 ​Y​EARS​ of enhancing the educational experience in our schools. Throughout these three decades, your contributions have helped us give over $4,000,000 to the Milton Public Schools - an amount that has impacted ​55,000​+ students and educators.​ In other words, our success is directly related to the generosity of philanthropic friends like you!

Every dollar donated to the MFE helps spark innovation and invigorates the learning experience for our students – both inside and outside the classroom. Just last year, generous supporters like you helped to pour nearly $150,000 back into the schools. Below are just a few examples of your money at work through MFE in 2024-2025: 

• Teachers received over $60,000 in grants to help elevate learning and engagement in the classroom and beyond;

• Four talented graduating MHS seniors received MFE scholarships to offset costs associated with their continuing education;

• Outdated and inaccurate collections of geography books were replaced in each school;

• Fifth graders from Collicot, Cunningham, Glover, and Tucker got a taste of Pierce through stepping up days, better equipping them for the transition to middle school;

• Pierce students participated in transformative beyond-the-classroom experiences, from science excursions to the annual trip to Washington, DC;

• MFE jumped in to fund Milton High School’s graduation in the face of budgetary challenges;

• Our annual MFE Monster Dash raised tens of thousands of dollars for science programming; 

• And, we recognized an incredible high school teacher with our inaugural Kate Middleton Rookie of the Year Award - named in memory of our beloved Board member who was passionate about supporting and retaining Milton’s excellent educators.

To commemorate the MFE’s birthday, we are excited to introduce a new initiative: $30 for 30 Years. With each $30 donation, you can identify any MPS educator who has made a positive impact on someone important in your life. The more you give, the more people you can recognize - teachers, administrators, specialists, counselors, paraprofessionals, nurses, custodians! And the best part? You can participate even if you no longer have a direct tie to MPS. MFE will send this person (or people!) a note of appreciation, and their name will be displayed alongside other honorees at our annual Celebration for Education on May 2, 2026. We hope you’ll join us–both at our event and today–through our $30 for 30 Years initiative!
